The CEED Centre Society is pleased to partner with the MRPMK Community Literacy Committee (CLC) in providing literacy outreach. The CLC operates the Learning Room, a literacy outreach office within the CEED Centre. The CLC also has relationships with other agencies that promote literacy. One of these is First Book Canada.
"Working with publishers and corporate partners, we make brand-new, high-quality books available to children from low-income families and the schools and programs that serve them. Books are granted through the First Book Canada National Book Bank and the First Book Canada Marketplace. (FBC flyer).
