Charitable Purpose
The CEED Centre Society is dedicated to community education on environment and development. The Society is a registered charity and was originally formed in 1984 as the Fraser Information Society. 

Mission
As a social innovator, we foster the development of social connections and sustainable living practices within the communities of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows so that all living beings can thrive. 

Neighbourhood House
We own and maintain a registered heritage building, which we operate as the CEED Centre Neighbourhood House,  a drop-in community center. 

Program Scope 
We offer programs and services related to community development in all three of the environmental, social and economic frameworks. Our partners offer additional programs and services from the CEED Centre Neighbourhood House.

Values 
We believe: 

• that communities should be built "from the inside out" by mobilizing the talents, skills and knowledge of the people, organizations and institutions in the community;
• that all human endeavours should fit within the earth's natural carrying capacity;
• that all people should be treated with dignity and respect, standing equal and valued in the eyes and deeds of the community.
