As the year comes to a close, we would like to thank all of the generous people who support our programs and services by participating in them or by donating time, money and thought to them. Our youth outreach programs, in particular, have received outstanding support from so many private citizens and businesses. The youth appreciate the kind thoughts behind the expressions of support.
- First West Foundation provided funding in part for our Home Base program, which feeds, clothes and provides hygiene items and first aid supplies to street entrenched youth.
- Vancity cheered many of our youth with gifts from the Angel Tree and the staff put together food and care packages for them.
- Coast Capital contributed to the youth employment program that will help the youth navigate their way into the working world.
- Kim Davies and her fellow parents at school wrote words of encouragement to accompany the home baked goodies and other items in the care packages.
- The New Horizons for Seniors grant from the Government of Canada helps to bring seniors out of isolation and engage them in social activities through our SAGE program.
- The Province of B.C., through the Community Gaming Grant supports many of the Neighbourhood House programs.
