Summer is a great time to stretch your artistic muscles and listen to the hum of the birds and bees from the cool of an art room during the midday heat. On Tuesday, July 27, Warren's Art Workshop attracted a lively group of novice sculptors, and an accomplished sketcher and painter. Monica shared the basics of sculpting with clay and salt dough, made from a simple mixture of flour and salt. The conversation was lively and engaging, drawing out the talents in all the participants. Warren's Art Workshop is a great place to experiment with new art techniques and media, share your knowledge and learn about the community. We meet Tuesdays from 12:30-3:00 pm at the CEED Centre Neighbourhood House. Bring some art supplies and your enthusiasm.
