Community Gardens
We manage two organic community gardens that are available to members on a first-come, first served basis. There is currently a 2-3 year waiting list.
We are also part of a diverse partnership helping to create school neighbourhood gardens and cooking programs. Community support is a vital part of making school gardens flourish. We also use our front yard and spare garden space to grow fresh organic produce for distribution through charitable food agencies. Ask how you can participate and about availability at [email protected].

Training, Seminars, Workshops and Forums
We offer sessions on a variety of topics when we can find available instructors. Please talk to us if you have an idea. Our most recent workshops focused on organic gardening/farming and acrylic painting.

The Seniors Tech Buddies program
shows elders how to use their digital tech to stay in touch and access online services. This program is by appointment only – call Christian. Volunteering
Since we have a small staff, volunteers are the heart of this organization. We view volunteering as mobilizing the assets of the community: the people, their knowledge, their relationships and the institutions that support them. Talk to Christian to see which activities best fit your interests. As you can surmise, there is lots going on here at the CEED Centre Neighbourhood House. The easiest way for members to learn more is to attend the Wednesday Community Discussions. S |
